My family and i have been looking and looking for a place to relocate to where we can buy a home with a little bit of property for my horse and not owe a mortgage. we thought we had found a little bit of heaven in aiken - the natural beauty, lots of horses, an excellent hospital, a university etc until i came upon information about the savannah river site! oops! how do you folks living there feel about the situation? especially since aiken is in a relatively active earthquate zone. b.
Here are two blogs run by professional athletes who call Aiken home:

Please add my site. The description follows:
Welcome to the pre-eminent blog for suburban sistas interested in literature, politics, art, music and other cultural pursuits. My blog will feature book reviews by prominent and rising African-American authors, as well as excerpts of my own soon-to-be-published works. Occasionally, you may find anecdotes and advice on parenting African-American children in suburbia, especially when my own are providing me with excessive entertainment/challenges.
